Well, my outing with Aunt Bea yesterday was great fun. Went to the Mexican market, Mexican restaurant for lunch, MGM Casino & then on to the play at the Gem Theater. "A Forbidden Broadway Christmas" was really funny. It does spoofs on famous plays and performers with only four cast members and one piano player. Aunt Bea ended up staying the night at our house as by the time we got home it was dark. After she left this morning Juan and I raked some more leaves from the front yard. Our trees have finally shed their leaves but our neighbors trees still have lots of leaves. Leaves have been late in falling because of the warm weather. Think we will still be raking up the leaves into December. Of course, I had to do a scrapbook page. To see a larger image of the photo just click on it. So...Happy Birthday Aunt Bea and today is my Uncle Stanley's birthday. Happy Birthday to Uncle Stanley...will give him a call later.

The journaling on the scrapbook page reads: For Aunt Bea’s 80th birthday I took her to the
Gem Theater in Detroit to see “A Forbidden Broadway Christmas”. First we went to Honey Bee Market to pick up some tortillas for John, then to Mexican Village for lunch. We still had time to kill so went to the MGM Casino to try our luck. I ended up losing my $20.00 but, Aunt Bea played $60.00 and only lost $1.20. Then off to see the play. It does spoofs of Broadway’s greatest shows & performers. It was sooo funny! I especially liked the spoof on the “Sound of Music”, laughed so hard. By the time we got back home it was rush hour & dark so Aunt Bea
spent the night and left the next morning I have to say it was a very good day and we both had lots of fun."
